WPTraffic Plus is a WordPress plugin that provides two main functions:
- Recommended Plugins Hub – Access a curated list of traffic-generating WordPress plugins recommended by McReaSoft

System Requirements #
Before installing WPTraffic Plus, ensure your WordPress site meets these minimum requirements:
- WordPress Version: 6.0 or higher
- PHP Version: 7.4 or higher
- Tested up to: WordPress 6.2
- User Role: Administrator access required for installation
Installation #
You can install WPTraffic Plus using one of two methods:
Method 1: WordPress Admin Panel (Recommended) #
This is the easiest method for most users.
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard
- Navigate to Plugins → Add New
- Click the Upload Plugin button at the top of the page
- Click Choose File and select the
wptraffic-plus-v1_0_4.zipfile from your computer - Click Install Now
- Wait for the installation to complete (you’ll see a progress bar)
- When complete, you’ll see a success message

Method 2: FTP Upload (Advanced Users) #
Use this method if you have FTP access to your server or prefer manual installation.

- Navigate to your WordPress installation directory

Activation #
After installation (regardless of method), you need to activate the plugin:
Steps to Activate #
- Go to your WordPress dashboard
- Navigate to Plugins → Installed Plugins
- Locate “WPTraffic Plus” in the plugin list
- Click the Activate link under the plugin name
- You’ll see a confirmation message: “Plugin activated”
After Activation #

Plugin Information Display #
Each plugin shows:
- Plugin Icon/Thumbnail – Visual identification of the plugin
- Plugin Name – The official name of the plugin
- Author – Who created the plugin
- Description – Brief explanation of what the plugin does
- Version Number – Current version available
- Compatibility Status – Whether it works with your WordPress and PHP versions
- Action Buttons – What you can do with the plugin (see below)

Depending on the plugin’s status, you’ll see different action buttons:
1. Install from WordPress.org #
When you see this: Plugin is not installed on your site
